Research Use Only Policy

Who may purchase

Purchasers must be at least 21 years old and authorized to obtain materials for a qualified laboratory, educational, analytical, or other legitimate in-vitro research setting. Verification is a condition of access and purchase.

Permitted purpose

Products may be used only as laboratory reference materials in controlled, lawful, non-clinical research. The buyer is responsible for confirming that the proposed protocol, personnel, facilities, storage, and disposal practices are appropriate.

Prohibited use

• Human or veterinary administration, consumption, implantation, injection, or topical application
• Diagnosis, treatment, cure, prevention, or mitigation of disease
• Food, drug, cosmetic, supplement, or household use
• Resale or transfer to an unqualified purchaser
• Any unlawful, misleading, or unsafe purpose

Buyer representations

By entering the site or ordering, the buyer represents that the verification responses are truthful; that the buyer understands the research-use restriction; and that the materials will be handled only by qualified personnel in accordance with law, institutional policy, product labeling, and available batch documentation.

Order review and refusal

PEP N’ STEP may ask for additional verification, limit quantities, cancel an order, or decline service when an order appears inconsistent with this policy, presents a safety or compliance concern, or cannot lawfully be fulfilled.

No repackaging or relabeling

Product identity, lot information, warnings, and documentation must remain associated with the material. Removing or obscuring labels, substituting documentation, or marketing a product for prohibited use is not authorized.
